Job summary
To be responsible for the processing of prescriptions in accordance with practice policy and current legislation. In addition, the post holder will be required to support the dispensary manager in ensuring a high-level of service is delivered at all times whilst supporting the multi-disciplinary team in line with the strategic objectives of the practice.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our Dispensary team.
We require a Dispenser to work in our Dispensary at Elmham & Swanton Morley Surgery assisting in opening/closing the dispensary, receiving, and preparing prescriptions, prepare medicines for dispensing, checking, and issuing stock, preparing remote deliveries, responding to Patient enquiries and adhering to legislation applied in the management of controlled drugs.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working in a GP surgery is desirable. Must be flexible to cover holidays and sickness. Dispensary Assistant Course- Level 2 equivalent to be studied for in own time to secure a permanent position, if not already held.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Paramedic
Job Summary
The post holder will be working as part of the wider Elmham Group of Practices Teams which include North Elmham, Swanton Morley and Toftwood Practices.
With support from the General Practitioners and existing Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Clinical Paramedic, the post holder will be responsible for providing care of the presenting Patient through initial history taking, clinical assessment, investigations leading to appropriate diagnosis and treatment pathways. Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and acting within Professional boundaries expected. To work collaboratively as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. Providing support to colleagues within their direct team. Assisting with the development of Protocols, Education, and training programmes, along with involvement in Research and Audit Programmes where appropriate.
