What is Accurx?

Accurx enables NHS based GP practices to offer online consultations to their patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically, and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.

  • Patient triage allows you to submit medical and administrative queries directly to the practice online.
  •  It can be used to request a GP letter, fit (sick) note, referral update, test results and to request appointment or medical advice from a doctor or nurse practitioner.
  • Toftwood Medical Centre - will ensure your query is directed to the most appropriate person to help you within 3 working days.
  • Access to medical and admin requests are available from 7.30am to 12pm noon Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
  • After 12pm noon you will not be able to access Accurx until 7.30am the next working day. If after 12pm noon you believe your problem is urgent, please telephone the surgery. For all non-urgent requests after 12pm noon, patients will be signposted to access care elsewhere, where appropriate.
  • We aim to respond to all medical requests within 48 hours.

If you require an appointment with a Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant, you can do this via our Systmone Online Services or by calling the surgery after 10am.
